DIED. C.V. Wood Jr., 71, master planner who pioneered the
development of major theme parks, from Disneyland to Six Flags
over Texas; of lung cancer; in Houston. As Disneyland's first
employee, Wood supervised the site selection and construction
of the park in Anaheim, Calif. After leaving Disney, he
supervised the creation of the first Six Flags theme park, in
Arlington, Texas, and the moving of London Bridge to Arizona.
